moments

“I’m not wearing makeup,” said Emily. What?!?! “I met this cute guy in the music building at Texas Lutheran University and he commented on my makeup and how nice it looked.” Nope, I wasn’t wearing any makeup – what was he thinking?

It wasn’t love at first sight, BUT it didn’t take long. The next few months, Brian and Emily found a shared love for music and cats, and, before long, they found themselves spending all their time together. Brian and Emily dated three years, then Brian proposed to Emily.

While staycationing in Gruene, Texas, Brian and Emily spent the day going to movies, having lunch, and then stepped outside for a short stroll - only to discover their family and friends were waiting for them outside Gruene Hall. Emily was caught off guard and couldn't understand why all their family and friends where standing there. Brian then popped the question!

Brian and Emily planned an elegant wedding mixed with country chic – Eagle Dance Ranch has an incredible crystal chandelier. It’s Texas Size huge! Emily’s eyes filled with tears when she did her “first look” with her father, and then with her bridesmaids. Walking down the aisle Emily was surprised to see that her parents had lovingly placed 12' tall cathedral, arched, stain glass windows at the altar.

"It was perfect! It was a perfect day! At a perfect venue! With the perfect quintet! With the perfect caterer! And the perfect photographer! With all our family and friends!" Now, with music in their hearts, they plan on traveling to different cities and countries – experiencing other cultures – and "most likely not wearing any makeup while doing it," said Emily.
