• Your images are captured in raw color format. After your wedding or session, we handpick the final images and work with each selection to bring it to its fullest potential. The final images are then presented in a password protected gallery. Wedding couples should anticipate 50 images per booked hour. Portrait sessions will produce 5-15 images per booked hour.
• We are not obligated to give a client any images that are not already presented to them. We will not release images that were not included within the final set of final images, because they were neither created nor intended as final products – they simply enable us to work out issues to ensure you receive the highest quality images.
• Images may not be reproduced anywhere, for any reason, or in print without permission. Proper photography credit must be given at all times to Shelly Beck Photography.
• Images taken at any wedding or portrait session are copyrighted and owned by Shelly Beck Photography, LLC/Spirit-Pix by Shelly Beck. Printing rights are given for your images to be printed in the size and quantities you'd like.
• A USB drive of your edited images will be provided for booked wedding photography. The USB drive comes with printing rights for printing at a lab, with quantity and quality of your choice. Receiving the USB drive with your images does not provide owner copyrights, or release the owner copyrights of Shelly Beck Photography, LLC. Copies may not be made from purchased prints. This is a violation of the copyright laws and is considered illegal. We would greatly appreciate your respecting the copyright laws and our talent.
• Most of the locations and props pictured are privately owned and not available for all sessions or weddings. Please inquire about locations that are available for your session.
• Wedding and portrait session times start at the preset appointment time. If you are late, it will cut into the allotted time. We understand emergencies occur and we are willing to work with you on an individual occurrence bases.
• If an heirloom album is included in your purchase, the images will be printed directly onto the pages. The paper used is museum grade quality, and has a life-span of 199+ years. The cover will be Italian leather – you will have the selection of the leather color and type. I will design the basic album layout, and we will have two rounds of editing. Further rounds will be chargeable.
• For weddings, it is in the contract to provide three meals for me, my second photographer, and my assistant. Most caterers will not charge for these meals, so make sure to ask them.
• Digital images are archived on an external hard drive, and also offsite.
the fine print
• Deposits paid to reserve your wedding or portrait session are for our time, payment of necessary staff, and are not refundable.
• Wedding Collections may be amended. We encourage our couples to not pay for more than is necessary.
• Portraits take approximately two weeks post production work before being available on our website. Wedding images are approximately four to ten weeks in post production before being available. Why? Because at SBP, we do not outsource your images for editing. They are maintained in our office and hand edited by myself. Each image is hand edited, one at a time – it is not edited in batching, or asking yall to pick your favorite 50 and editing only those.
• Our wedding photography is vibrant, rich, colorful, and in a photojournalistic style. We mainly photograph candidly to capture the true feeling of your wedding day.
• Photo shoots extending past the arranged time will be charged at a rate of $175 per thirty minutes; minutes to be rounded to the next half-hour.
• Heirloom prints include color correction of each image and special, museum grade quality paper.
• Digital images will be high resolution files without any watermarks.
• We live in Boerne, Texas, but provide services world wide.As a destination wedding specialist, I have the unique ability to sleep on a plane! Travel is billed separately, with any needed hotel, rental car, or airfare to be the responsibility of the client.
• An assistant is provided with every wedding collection. My assistant functions as an assistant and sometimes as a third photographer. Their primary duty, however, is to provide aid with lighting, and managing logistics of other key items of the wedding.
• Rehearsal dinner coverage is available to be added to any collection, otherwise, I do not attend this event. We will be in close contact through your wedding journey that I will know the timing and flow of your day.
• Shelly Beck Photography, LLC does carry insurance. A certificate of insurance can be provided should a venue request it. Please allow 30 days to process and provide the needed document.
• A booking fee/retainer of 25% of the total collection value and a signed contract is due to reserve your date. We will pencil in your date, but it is not guaranteed until the previous has been provided. The retainer booking fee is monies paid and are non-refundable. This monies hold the date exclusively for you and once it and the signed contract are received, we do turn down all other commissions for that date. Should another couple inquire about your wedding date, we will do our best to offer you first right of refusal.
• Shelly Beck Photography should be given photography credit on all social media posts. Anywhere. Every time. Please.
