moments

“It’s said that horses have a wild heart, but a loving soul. I think that’s true. It’s also true of Brittany,” says Ryan. Having spent hours setting up candles and flowers at the perfect spot, Ryan surprised Brittany with a trail ride through the Texas Hill Country. At the trail’s end, Ryan helped Brittany off her horse, got down on one knee, and proposed. “It was perfect! I grew up with horses! The entire moment was perfect,” giggled Brittany.

Living in Texas and loving all things horses, Brittany and Ryan booked the Rockin’ B Ranch to host their wedding. Brittany and Ryan wanted to make sure their wedding day didn’t just fly by. The 55 acre ranchette offers lodging, a spring-fed creek, catch-and-release fishing, and a covered open-air reception area with a 6’ elk horn chandelier and massive fireplace. “We were able to have all of our closest friends and family spend the entire wedding weekend celebrating us!”

As with every wedding, there were moments that will live forever, culminating into a tall-tale for future generations. (1) The best man ripped his pants before the wedding ceremony – ripped, like down the butt crack! (2) While getting ready to walk down the aisle, Brittany and Ryan watched as one of their guests ride like the wind to locate the missing bouquet. (3) The airline lost one bridesmaid’s luggage. (4) Another bridesmaid hit a Texas sized pothole on her trip to the wedding and had to replace two wheels and tires. (5) All the hairstyles were wrong and had to be redone minutes before the ceremony. (6) The wedding photographer flashed us! (sort of. I was wearing a cami and trying to take the best bucking picture! LOL!)

Saddle up! Brittany and Ryan are now hitched! Blessings yall!
